Fidelity Bank Ghana to launch series of impactful social initiatives to mark its 15the birthday celebrations.

Announcing the impending anniversary celebrations in a special message of appreciation to the various stakeholders of the bank, Edward Effah, Chairman of the Board and Founder of Fidelity Bank Ghana, said: “As we celebrate 15 years of Leading excellence and innovation, I want to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to the giants who have elevated Fidelity Bank Ghana to success. “
He expressed his gratitude to clients, board members, shareholders and the regulator, Bank of Ghana, for their support, trust and tremendous advice.
“I would like to assure everyone that Fidelity Bank will continue to strive to deliver value to all of our stakeholders and we will continue to contribute to the development of the banking sector as well as the economy of Ghana,” said Mr. Effah.
Fidelity Bank chief executive Julian Opuni also expressed similar sentiments in a separate anniversary message to customers, employees and other stakeholders of the bank.
He further indicated the bank’s intention to give back to the company during the milestone celebrations.
He said: “From its humble beginnings 15 years ago, Fidelity Bank has grown into an asset management company.
“We dedicate all of our successes and awards to you, our loyal customers and partners. As a sign of our immense gratitude; we have chosen to celebrate this momentous anniversary by giving back to you, to society and to the nation as a whole.
“Over the next few months, we will be launching a variety of social impact initiatives to thank you for your continued support. Consider it as our love letter to Ghana, to express our sincere appreciation for the enduring support that has raised our bank to remarkable levels of excellence, ”he revealed.
Building on a socially responsible business philosophy, Fidelity Bank continued to leverage strategic partnerships and disruptive digital technology to further its vision of achieving business growth while delivering maximum value to clients. In particular, the Bank continues to expand its digital footprint with a growing portfolio of locally and globally relevant assets including Fidelity mobile app, Fidelity online banking, Fidelity USSD, account opening portal online from Fidelity, Fidelity’s point of sale system and, of course, Kukua, Fidelity’s WhatsApp banking assistant, among many others.
The Bank has also built a reputation for working with stakeholders and partners to implement relevant and impactful social welfare interventions. Most recently, the bank supported the construction of the Ghana Infectious Disease Center with a donation of GH ¢ 1,000,000. The center has since played a major role in Ghana’s largely successful response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
